So I just finished "Siren" By Tricia Rayburn. I always blog about what I thought after I read a book. I don't refer to them as reviews because I don't want all the "hype" and I don't want to write a wrong review (if that's possible? lol).I thought this book was so good! I really really enjoyed it. It was so nice to see Vanessa grow. She started off so scared and grew to be so brave by the end. I loved Simon and Caleb, just love love loved them! And Simon... it was so nice to see a guy who is a complete sweetheart! Usually, it's the bad sarcastic boy I fall for, but Simon was such a sweetheart I just wanted to give him a hug!I loved the concept of her "Sirens" too. I have only read about one Siren which was Ridley from "Beatiful Creatures" but she was a different type of siren than in this book. This book had a really cool concept I haven't read yet and I look forward to finding out more about them. This book also had a "sex" scene. Which I love when books have them! Books like: Shiver, The Wake Trilogy, and Bleeding Violet. They all, including Siren, did the scenes just right and I think it adds extra hotness to the book! ;) Extra realness to the relationship developing. On twitter, Tricia Rayburn said book2 will come out next summer and I am so excited to see what happens! I have a few questions that I need to be answered! Like... Who is Charlotte Bleu? Why doesn't her mother remember Raina? Why did Zara help Vanessa at the end? And most of all I want Simon and Vanessa to end up happily ever after of course :).I can't wait to see how this series plays out! Great book :)One of my fav quotes from the book:"It was as if Simon had become my nightlight; even when he wasn't with me, he was illuminating the world so that I no longer feared it." (pg246)
