Where do I even start? I absolutely LOVED this book. It, by all means, held up to the standard of the first. From the terrifying, freezing first pages to the heartbreaking, wonderful last pages it held my attention the entire time.I loved seeing the Winter Court and all the characters that came along with it. Sage and Rowen were awesome to read about, and to see Ash and the facade he must show in his court was something else. More characters I really liked and (they surprised me because of Ash's motives) were Tiaothin and Spider!Meghan was something else... so determined, so heartbroken, so strong. I felt for her throughout the whole book, through all her tears and surprises. We also got to see her with both her boys and I just love both of them. Puck is so sweet and funny, his sense of humor just gets me. Yet Ash, so tormented and lovely, I can't help but love him.Ash has got to be one of my favorite characters (obviously I'm team ASH all the way). I love his torment, his jealousy, his hurt, his strength, his happiness, the way he looks at Meghan with so many different emotions. All the things he goes through and still keeps on going. I have to say one of my favorite chapters from the book has to be chapter 21. I just loved that chapter!And one character who I never expected that I loved was Iron Horse. He played such a great role in this book! He was so much more fun to follow than I thought he would be. So strong and protective with a great heart.Oh and one last comment, the pattern in this book that Meghan must figure out was so creative! I love stuff like that! And I could not figure it out, and when she finally did... I was like oh my gosh cool!The ending was just fantasical (if that's even a word)! I felt so bad for a certain someone, but I was so so so happy with that ending! I just LOVE this series and I can not wait for THE IRON QUEEN. I can not wait to see what happens with Meghan, Ash, Puck, Grim, and all the Nevernever. :)Amazing second book in the series & here are some of my favorite quotes:"Ash looked at me.
